DESCRIPTION:Attention pet owners and history fans!\nTHE ANNUAL PETS ‘N PRESERVATION CALENDAR PHOTO CONTEST IS HERE\nEntries for the 2026 Pets ‘n Preservation calendar are open now through August 1\, 2025.\nEnter Your Pet Today – Cover Shot Wins $150! \nOur premier photo contest honors all types of animal friends.\nWe encourage you to photograph your birds\, bunnies\, and horses (or any other pet) with a historic (40+ year old) place and enter!\nOur expert panel of judges will review the submissions and narrow down to our winning cover shot—plus an additional 11 calendar pets.\nThe place is important – location can be anything from your front porch to a national registered historic place…it just must be at least 40 years old.\nWe will select one photo to serve as the cover spot (which will be awarded $150)! \n  \nEntering the Pets n’ Preservation contest is easy!\nHere’s how the contest works:\n• FIRST\, Nominate your pet!\nComplete the short survey and drop the high resolution photo of your pet in front of a historic place in the drop box before August 1st. \nENTER YOUR PET PHOTO HERE\n\n• SECOND\, Shamelessly promote your pet by posting your furry besties at your favorite old place.\nUse #petsnpreservation and tag us on social @restoreoregon\, so we can see it. \n  \nJoin us and Participate in Post Your Pet Wednesday! \nBe sure to follow @RestoreOregon on:  \nFacebook\, Instagram\, LinkedIn \nWe’ll give you inspiration each week by sharing previous Pets n’ Preservation photos on our socials.\nCheck out some winners from years past for inspiration on our socials! \n  \nHonor Your Loyal Pet and Raise Awareness for Historic Preservation Today!\nGot Questions?  \nEmail nora@restoreoregon.org \nGood luck!
