Farewell Brandon Spencer-Hartle!

BrandonIt is with great pride that Restore Oregon wishes Brandon Spencer Hartle success and growth in his new position with the City of Portland.

Brandon began working with Restore Oregon as an advisor while completing his Master’s degree in Historic Preservation at the University of Oregon. Upon completion of this program, he was hired as our Field Programs Manager in 2011, later to become Senior Field Programs Manager as our staff grew.

Over the course of five years, Brandon built and managed our outstanding Heritage Barns Taskforce, administered grants state-wide for Oregon’s Most Endangered Places, and championed Restore Oregon’s first State Supreme Court case, among many other accomplishments.

Today, the City of Portland is benefitting from Brandon’s depth of knowledge in preservation and planning as he begins his role as Historic Resources Program Manager.

While we wish Brandon the best as he works to further the ideals of preservation in Portland, we are also actively seeking a qualified and passionate individual to fill his role at Restore Oregon. Please feel free to share the job posting among interested parties.
