Restore Oregon’s 2026 Architect Spotlight Event: NATURE AND LIGHT IN ARCHITECTURE

NATURE AND LIGHT IN ARCHITECTURE: An Exploration of The Gordon House and Mount Angel Library
Join us as we celebrate the legacy of two world-class architects: Frank Lloyd Wright and Alvar Aalto. Oregon is home to just one project from each of these visionaries. The Gordon House and The Mount Angel Library. While Wright hailed from Wisconsin and Aalto from Finland, both were inspired by Oregon’s unique environment. Their work reflects a deep commitment to regionalism, using local materials and natural light to harmonize indoor and outdoor spaces.
