The Cumberland Community Events Center (CCEC) recently received a grant from the Kinsman Foundation for $50,000 to perform exterior restoration work, including the roof, siding, and historic steeple! Electricity is temporarily connected to the building and roof work began over the last several weeks. A condition assessment on the siding is complete and CCEC has received bids for painting. An assessment of the historic colored glass windows is in progress and bids to restore them to their original condition are being obtained.
