Keith comes to us from the Lane County History Museum, where he served as Executive Director. He has spent the last decade working in museums, including a nearly eight-year tenure as the director of the Albany Regional Museum.

Keith grew up in Indiana, moving to the Northwest in 2012. He was lucky enough to have his wife agree to the adventure, moving on a month's notice. Arriving by train at Portland's Union Station, they could feel the energy of the City right away and knew they had made the right decision. Keith was able to finish his degree at Portland State University. Shortly after graduating, he began his career in museums by moving north to Vancouver to work at the Clark County Historical Museum.

Outside of work, Keith enjoys volunteering, serving on the Albany Arts Commission, and the City of Albany Budget Committee. He is also a member and former President of the Rotary Club of Albany. What keeps him the busiest is his 9-year-old daughter, Ruby. The family regularly travels for Taekwondo tournaments and spends the early Spring helping to sell Girl Scout cookies for Ruby's troop.

Keith is excited to join Restore Oregon to build support for its advocacy and education work.  Thanks to his years of experience in history museums, he understands the power of place in communities and is particularly interested in promoting preservation for social and cultural equity.
