Congratulations to our Pets ‘n Preservation Cover Photo winner:
Toby!
Toby is happy to enjoy the sunset at the Coquille River Lighthouse in Bandon, Oregon. The historic lighthouse began operation in 1896. About the Pets 'n Preservation Photo Contest
The Restore Oregon Pets ’n Preservation photo contest raises awareness of our most loved places around the state. Since the submission form closed on August 1st, our staff has had the ruff job of judging the pawfect submissions from historic places across the state.
With submissions flooding in featuring different resource types from different time periods, we awarded a cash prize to our cover pup Toby, at the Coquille River Lighthouse in Bandon, Oregon!
A big thank you to everyone who entered the photo contest!
The Pets ‘n Preservation calendar is an annual fundraiser to support our work across the state, and YOU helped to make it happen! Make sure to purchase a calendar, or two, to help Restore Oregon fulfill our mission to preserve, reuse, and pass forward Oregon’s historic places.
Restore Oregon is Oregon’s only statewide historic preservation nonprofit organization, but it may surprise you to know that we receive no dedicated state funding. That means support from our community of donors and grant funders is key to the success of our preservation work. Thank you!
