Welcome our new Office Manager, Nastya Kline!
Here's a little about themselves:
I'm Nastya Kline (they/them), and I'm the Office Manager.
I'm a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent person with a background in labor and community organizing.
I spent the start of COVID working as front desk staff for Central City Concern (medical and behavioral health clinic) supporting houseless and low-income folks through the worst of the pandemic, and then joined Oregon AFSCME to help push legislation protecting behavioral health workers and to work on the admin side of labor organizing. I've also volunteered with the Portland Lesbian Choir and served on their Equity and Belonging Committee. Advocating for LGBTQ+ and disability equity in my workplace and larger community is incredibly important to me, and I come to Restore Oregon with an interest in preserving and uplifting the stories of our state's marginalized communities.
My favorite activities include: napping on the couch with my kitties Granola and Oatmeal, drinking tea, collecting rainbow office supplies, and spending time in my flower garden.
