Meet Erin

Erin Swicegood is excited to join Restore Oregon as a Development & Programs Associate. Before moving to Oregon, she earned her bachelor's degree in history of art and architecture from UC Santa Barbara in 2017. She moved to Portland in 2018 to attend University of Oregon’s historic preservation program, where she received her master’s degree in historic preservation in June 2020.

She completed her master’s terminal project on legacy business programs, inspired by her time interning with the San Francisco Planning Department in 2019. Erin has volunteered with Restore Oregon for the past 2 years, helping with their easement program, and is thrilled to join Restore Oregon and support preservation efforts in Oregon. She is passionate about historic preservation and saving our collective and diverse cultural heritage.
