Matthew is a principal at Architectural Resources Group. As a preservation planner and architectural historian, he has over 15 years of project management experience in the treatment of historic properties. His specialties include conducting historic resource evaluations; completing National Register nominations and environmental compliance documentation; assessing project design for conformance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards; communicating with local and state historic review commissions; and developing preservation plans and design guidelines. Matthew is Restore Oregon’s board president and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
